The Green Island Holiday Trust provides supported holidays for people with disabilities. The Trust organises six one-week holidays a year based at Holton Lee, a well-being centre set in 350 acres of tranquil countryside on the edge of Poole Harbour. During the holiday personalised care and support is provided by a friendly and dedicated team of volunteers who stay with the group 24 hours a day. The guests stay in two homely cottages and are able to explore the area by a network of accessible paths. On site activities include carriage riding, bird watching and wood craft whilst off site there are opportunities for trips out on St Elin, the Trust’s boat and visits to local attractions and events. Requests are welcomed from people with disabilities who live in Hampshire and Dorset.
