We are proud to be a forward-thinking organisation that strives for excellence, providing day opportunities to people over 16 with autism and learning disabilitie. Our staff are highly qualified, trained with many years of experience. Thrive opened in 2015 and we are part of Windward Day Service which was established in 2002. We have 4 further places Windward (Netley Marsh), Spiral Blue (Ringwood) and Cheers (New Milton) and Helix (Verwood) based over Hampshire, Dorset and the New Forest.
Every day we run activities on-site and accessing the local community helping to develop a variety of learning, sporting and leisure, creative and independent skills. We want you to be involved in the development of this centre so we hold regular committee meetings so you can have your say. We want to support you in the things you want to do – if you have an idea we will give it a go! We offer an award incentive scheme called Citizen Step-Up which encourages you try new experiences, offer a service and try a new skill and then we hold an award evening to celebrate your achievements. We run regular Social Evenings, outings and holidays to further expand our range of social and independence-building opportunities. We also strive to work with a personal centred approach - ensuring to work with you and your parents or carers to best support you whilst you're with us, we also offer a key worker scheme as well as individual support plan to make sure we understand your needs.
