Moors Valley Country Park and Forest

The 1000-acres of country park and forest at Moors Valley have something for everyone including a waymarked walk and cycle routes, a tree top walkway, a narrow-gauge steam railway, a cycle hire centre, an adventure Play Trail and Go Ape Tree Top Adventure. Open all year round, the Rangers offer a full events programme.

Moors Valley is managed for people and wildlife; providing a space for play, recreation and education as well as a home for a wide range of plants and animals.

There are many waymarked trails at Moors Valley Country Park. The friendly staff in the Visitor Centre are happy to advise you on the best routes to make the most of your visit however the popular Play Trail and Lakeside footpath are easily accessible for all-terrain pushchairs and mobility scooters. Detailed maps can be downloaded from the website www.moors-valley.co.uk/access

At the Visitor Centre there is a Changing Places toilet with tracking hoist and height adjustable changing bed. Other accessible facilities include wheelchair and mobility scooter hire, a braille information guide, audio trail, large print leaflets and induction loop.
