Marwell zoo is home to hundreds of exotic and endangered animals all within a beautiful, landscaped 140-acre park. Enjoy the fresh air and open spaces while spotting animals that include – Rothchild’s giraffe, white rhinos, Amur tigers, Humboldt penguins, red pandas, snow leopards, and all three species of zebra (to name a few)! The zoo is owned and operated by global conservation charity, Marwell Wildlife. By visiting you’ll be contributing towards incredible projects to conserve species and habitats, both in Hampshire and around the world.

You can buy tickets online to speed your entry into the park on busy days. We do not allow vehicles in the park but there is a large free car park and the entrance gate is a short walk from the car park. There is a large family restaurant, Treetops and many refreshment kiosks. There is a free road train and a narrow gauge railway for which there is a small charge. Manual wheelchairs are available and mobility scooters can be hired for a small charge. It is advisable to book these in advance. During holiday times there are many events and added activities. Enjoy Keeper Encounters, Wild Theatre and our exciting new giraffe viewing platform.
