The University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service was established in 1990 to help severely to profoundly deaf adults, teenagers and children in the South of England and Channel Islands. We support patients with a range of auditory implants including cochlear implants, bone anchored hearing aids and middle ear implants. Our service is divided into four regional teams (North, East, West and Central). Each team includes Consultant Surgeons, Audiologists, Speech and Language Therapists and Teachers of the Deaf.
