Community Peer Navigators - Solent Mind

Community Peer Navigators aim to inspire hope by sharing their personal experiences of recovery and by helping you to develop contacts to feel more connected by networking with other people and services. Interacting with others helps to combat loneliness and isolation and breaks down barriers making it easier to talk about mental health and wellbeing.

Do you or someone you care for experience anxiety and depression or other mental health issues? Do you or they feel isolated and lonely? Could you benefit from help to find support groups or activities in your area from a navigator who is a person with lived experience of mental health issues?

We are currently piloting the Community Peer Navigators project in Cluster 6 which is Thornhill, Harefield, Townhill, Bitterne and Bitterne Park areas of Southampton. If you live or if you visit your GP in these areas you qualify for our support. If you do not live in our catchment area do contact Solent Mind as we have a range of services that help people in different post codes.
