Free advice for people interested in co-operative work, volunteering and housing. Help and advice on how to set up a co-operative business. Self referral, mostly over 18's. By appointment only. We are happy to meet enquirers at any appropriate location. Co-operatives offer a solution to people who wish to improve their economic or social wellbeing, and that of the community they live in, by collaborating with other individuals with similar aims or desires. They also offer people a real say in their community or workplace and how it is managed. Individuals who would otherwise not have the resources to establish a business can set up a co-operative enterprise where they share ownership and can exercise democratic control in the workplace.
