A free one hour health walk, keeping to a moderate pace but not suitable for dogs, unaccompanied children or those with mobility difficulty. Improve your physical and mental wellbeing by walking and socialising and then joining us for a chat at the end of the walk. (cafe refreshments at own cost). Meet at the Hawthorns Centre on Southampton Common (SO15 7NN). The walk leaves at 2pm sharp and we return to the Centre for 3pm. There are toilets at the Hawthorns Cafe and parking on Cemetery Road, nearby.

My journey runs these walks on Monday and Thursday mornings and also there are walk in town on Mondays and from Shirley Health Centre on Tuesday mornings, Weston Lane on Thursdays and Shirley HWeston Lane on thursdays at 11. They tick so many boxes and are associated with Active Nation and Sustrans. It is part of a national and regional attempt to imporve physical and mental wellbing.
