How to book

For Foster Care courses please discuss with your Supervising Social Worker, or email us at training.support@southampton.gov.uk directly with the exact course title.

For all other courses we have an electronic booking form that is simple and quick to complete and submit online, direct to our mailbox.

The Online Booking form can be found on all Course pages

An online booking form must be completed for all courses and should only be submitted with the agreement of whoever will pay for the course. Submission of a booking form does not guarantee a place. We will send an email to confirm you have been successful.

Charging Information

Invoice
We can invoice organisations and businesses.  We will invoice you once the course has been completed. If you do not attend and have not informed us in writing, you may still be invoiced for the place.

Maintained Schools
Payment will be claimed through internal journal transfer following management approval.

Southampton City Council employees
SCC employees should in the first instance check if Learning and Development are offering the training that they need.  If the course you require is not offered by L&D, Southampton City Council staff may book onto certain course. Please note a journal transfer from your team may be required.

Our correspondence will be with the email address given on the booking form and it is the responsibility of the email recipient to ensure the necessary people are aware of our correspondence.

If you have not heard from us, at least two weeks before the course start date, contact us as quickly as possible to confirm whether you have a place
