Volunteering opportunity for 16 - 25 year olds living in a council property
Southampton City Council is looking for volunteer 'green spaces champions' to inspect the green areas in local neighbourhoods.
Could you spend a few minutes a month monitoring how well the council is looking after your area? Sign up to be a volunteer this autumn or for next spring.
As a 'green spaces champion' you will:
- Gain some work experience
- Get a reference for your CV
- Help improve the look and feel of your neighbourhood
- Identify areas where the council can do better
- Volunteer on your own or with a friend
