From 1 October 2015 it will be illegal to smoke in a car, or other vehicle, with anyone under the age of 18. The law will apply in England and Wales.
Ahead of the changing legislation the Department of Health is keen to share the message as widely as possible. To do this they are using a range of mediums and have us asked us to share the information below. Please feel free to use these sources to help promote the message about smoking on cars.
Animations have been uploaded directly onto Facebook. They are available here: https://www.facebook.com/DHpublichealth. If you would like the animation to upload to Facebook yourself, please contact the Department of Health who will be able to supply it.
On twitter they will be sharing the following YouTube animation https://youtu.be/5jB9zSTlvwY. Please feel free to share this from your own twitter account and retweet @DHgovuk. The Department of Health will be using the hashtag #smokefreecars. PHE will be using #brakesonsmoking in their car-related Stoptober activity.
Blog on Huffington Post
