Ban on smoking in cars with children

From 1 October 2015 it will be illegal to smoke in a car, or other vehicle, with anyone under the age of 18. The law will apply in England and Wales.

Ahead of the changing legislation the Department of Health is keen to share the message as widely as possible. To do this they are using a range of mediums and have us asked us to share the information below. Please feel free to use these sources to help promote the message about smoking on cars.  

Facebook

The Department of Health will be using the hashtag #smokefreecars. PHE will be using #brakesonsmoking in their car-related Stoptober activity.
