If you are lesbian, gay or bisexual, you may find it difficult to discuss your sexuality with your friends and family.
Breakout is a project for young people who live in Southampton aged 13 to 21 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender or unsure of their gender or sexual identity and is run by No Limits, and offers one to one confidential support and a weekly social group that meets every Tuesday at a safe location between 7pm and 9.30pm. FFLAG (Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) is a national voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay or bisexual sons and daughters, with help lines across the UK and useful links to resources. They produce two useful booklets 'How do I tell my parents?' and 'A guide for families and friends of lesbians and gays'.
